Happy New Year. Hope 2007 is a fruitful year for all. Here is the first post of the new year.
The very first DTPSA is finally here! A total of 25 awards are up for grabs! Of these awards, 16 of them have more than one nominee, and voting was carried out to determine the most-deserving..
In no particular order, we shall now present the awards!
1. Quote of the year - "Anything is possible. We just need more time."
-tsk tsk. Perhaps the ISO peepz are more familiar with this?

2. Most nodding of head in 2007 - Esther
-who else but our beloved President of DTP R&R Executive Committee?
3. Sleepiest Tempstaff of the year - Dexter
-Who else siah. definitely the clearest winner.

4. PM who comes to Desktopower most often - AP
5. Phrase of the year - "你是不是讨厌我?"
-English translation: "You don't like me is it?!?!"
6. Nickname of the year - Porkchop (YM)
7. Gathering of the year - 2007 Annual DTP Chalet
8. Farewell party of the year - Kelly's farewell lunch
-We are so glad she went back to China! Hoho! *Just kidding*
9. Presentation of the year - Team Motivation & Writing Dynamics
-We have a tie for these 2 presentations! Kudos to the teams who did such fabulous jobs!
10. Event organizer of the year - Chuanhui

11. Called wrong name desktopower of the year - YM
-note: based on impression and not actual counts of wrong names called.
-I think he talks too much, thats how the impression was created.
-For the records, AT is the overall Called wrong name desktopower of 2007 with 18 wrong names. KT and YM followed closely behind at 15 each. Even Yvonne, non-DTP, is not far away at 11.
12. Lunch location of the year - Amoy
-Our favourite fruit juice stall, nasi lemak, raw fish porridge and not forgetting muffins are found at Amoy. Long Live Amoy!

-44 floors above ground level, we get a view like this! The only downside is that we have to walk down 44 flights of stairs in a case of emmergency or fire drill.

-Hands-down winner siah. "It is so easy to find her drama-mama photos." , according to CH.

-casualties include more than half the desktopower population.. we can't help but agree this bag's made of sturdy and lasting material eh? still looks brand new after all the tripping! *shakes head*
